Infromational video indeed...
The best practice for black and gray would be pencil drawing... what worked for me, was... try and find a way to draw just as you would tattoo... the main thing is throw the eraser away, and never smudge.... if u manage to crosshatch or use any kind of technique that dont require smudging the graphite or using the eraser... wou will see that tattooing is pretty much the same thing...

I just did a horese head today and used CM for hair.Worked fine for me,sorry i dont have a pic.

Fantastic work, and nice close up of how hes doing it. I have a lot of experience with painting, but next to none in tattooing, this vid really helped me to see how the muscle memory of painting can transfer to tattooing... of course its not that easy, So much more to learn and do before the work stands for itself! Thanks for all this post had covered for me so far... lots to thinks about and practice. (My first post...)
